G4S security vehicle robbed off an undisclosed cash

MBOMBELA – Mpumalanga police are on the manhunt for 15 suspects who shot and robbed a G4S Security vehicle of an undisclosed amount of cash yesterday, (Wednesday).

According to Brig Selvy Mohlala, spokesperson for the Mpumalanga police, occupants of two BMWs and three Range Rovers opened fire at the G4S Security vehicle which was travelling on the Karino/Luphisi road towards Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

“The driver of the G4S Security lost control of the vehicle and overturned. The vehicle was blasted open and few bags of cash taken. No one was injured . All suspects fled on their vehicles,” he said.
Two other cash in transit from the same company happened late last year on the same road.
