Help is still needed to realise family’s dream home

MBOMBELA – It is five months since “Good Samaritans” responded positively to a story about a destitute family of 13 living in a dilapidated shack in Numbi, but the promises have not been kept.
A few days after the publication of the article, numerous calls were received from prominent figures and shops around the City of Mbombela, to assist a locally based non-profit organisation, Mahushu Development, to build the family a decent house.Mahushu 1

Only a few kept their promises to make the family’s dream of owning a house come true.

From a tent to a corrugated shelter.
