Chief whip brings hope to learners

TONGA – Pupils from various schools including Shayaza Combined and Gebhuza Secondary schools started the year on a high note after the Chief Whip of the legislature, Mr Johan Mkhatshwa, paid them a visit and shared words of encouragement.

He emphasised that they should study hard to better their lives.

“As the year begins, you should work hard and not associate yourselves with friends who will mislead you into taking drugs and substance abuse,” said Mkhatshwa.

The event was also attended by the local police, traditional leaders and pastors who prayed for the teachers and pupils.
