#FlashBackFriday: This week was lit

File photo.

This was another eventful week when SASSA, Helen Zille and Jub Jub were the talk of social media. Twitterville was lit and convicted other trending stories.
1. The Social Development ministry was grilled by the constitutional court following the on-going debacle of grant payments. Dlamini’s attitude remains adamant despite everything.

2. #thejubjubinterview trended following his performance on SABC 2’s Morning Live. He opened up about his experience in prison and apologised to the nation for his mistakes. But of course, some users threw shade at him.

3. #HelenZille trended for the wrong reasons yesterday, she grilled by twitterville following her ‘provoking’ tweet about colonialism. She tweeted: Would we have had a transition into specialised health care and medication without colonial influence? Just be honest, please. Gloves came off!

4. Musician Dr Malinga and Hell Naw rapper Nasty C engaged in a twar when Malinga threw massive shade at Nasty C earlier this week, labelling him a “pawn shop” for apparently keeping things that didn’t belong to him. Nasty C retaliated by calling him a gimmick and wondered how his kids looked up to such a joke, ouch!
